TAS:Anti-forestry protesters arrested in Tas
Police have arrested seven anti-forestry protesters who prevented Forestry Tasmania
workers from entering their office building in Hobart today.
Green groups Still Wild Still Threatened .. the Huon Valley Environment Centre and
Code Green say Forestry Tasmania is making a mockery of the statement of principles signed
by unions .. conservationists and industry which agreed to protect large areas of native
forests.
Five protesters have been arrested for trespass and another two for committing a nuisance.
