Obama vs. Ryan
White House spokesman Jay Carney said Tuesday that the plan Obama will outline Wednesday will contain both spending cuts and tax increases. The president is expected to bring back his recommendation, first made in the 2008 campaign, to end Bush-era tax cuts for households earning more than $250,000 a year.
